Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on the 20th of July, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent to space tourism. Kristin is the daughter two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space and has covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. Over the course of this time, she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, the impeachment trial, two efforts to stop the corona virus pandemic, and two other administrations' efforts. She traveled extensively with both the President and Vice-President included an official trip to Afghanistan, which she took along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter prior to joining CBS in the year 2015. Using her skills behind the camera, Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company focused on making documentary-style movies for clients of corporate nature, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a graduate in Journalism from Boston University. She is married to her husband at Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
